SOSIALT LIV

Våkne opp
i sengen
og si god morgen
til hallusinasjonene
før de forsvinner
som dugg for solen.

Et spøkelse,
et gjenferd,
en ånd.

Stå opp
og prate med museproppen
på gulvet,
alltid på det samme stedet
med en dæsj sagflis.

Til og med
under teppet.

Det er murvegger
i kjellerstuen,
ikke en mus å se,
eller tre
å gnage på.

De holder til
i veggene
oppe på kjøkkenet.

Sette seg
i stolen
med en kopp kaffe
og prate med lyset
som blinker
i rommet,
til tross for at det
ikke er noe galt
med pæren.

Plutselig faller
en skygge
gjennom rommet.

Det blafrer i gardinene
og jeg kjenner
en mild bris
gjennom håret,
til tross for at vinduet
er lukket.

Dette er et nærvær.
Dette er mitt samvær.
Velkommen til Sand.

Without God, there is only mathematics left. I don’t believe in the wisdom of math. I don’t think the mystery of life and death can be measured with a ruler.

Even if you find my poetry to be tame and lame and doesn’t ignite a spark in you (I’m not a wordy person), I think we can agree that my paintings are LOVELY.

To the joy of my admiration for the art of the first half of the 20th century, the music of the latter half, and the literature throughout. And the sadness of seeing the arts die out in the 21st century.

If you are into Marina Abramović and modern art like that, this is what I have to say: I’m sick of low vibrational garbage that keeps my spirit down. It’s conformist art. The clerks. B. Gates. The oppressors of the world. They are the people into art like this. Therefore, I distance myself from it. Life is for the living.

“Hald på med ditt.” – Olav H. Hauge

At some point in my life,
this quote from a poem
by the great Norwegian poet Olav H. Hauge
became very valuable to me.
When you’re no longer busy
keeping up with the world
and doing what everyone else is doing
and having what everyone else has,
but left to yourself,
that’s what you have – Keep doing your thing.
Every day when I get up,
I think about this to get going – keep doing what you’re doing.

I wouldn’t mind if they all stopped now.
I think rock music
will first and foremost
be remembered in history
for the youthful cultural phenomenon
it was in the latter half of the 20th century.
And the first half of the 21st century
will be remembered as the fall of it all,
with all these oldies acts
and Sirs and upper class twits
on endless arena tours
doing their hits on routine
and autopilot
and releasing mediocre product
to justify the tours
and to come home and invest the big money
in real estate.

Fuck YouTube. I deleted my account (19.03.2024). I was sick of the censorship of my comments for no good reason other than to bully you. I have been thinking about it for a long time, because all the people I can admire for something are constantly banned from the place. It’s been very poisonous for my love of writing poetry and my paintings. All of my 67 playlists are gone. That was the saddest part. This is the last of the social media outlets for me. End of the line. I wasn’t made for it. “Second hand friends”, like Van Morrison sings. Hardly even that, lol. R.I.P.

My paintings are just escapism. A surreal world of the colorful mind. If you want my true human beauty from the bottomless pit, as lived and felt and thought and experienced in the material world, read the shittiest poetry I’ve ever written.
